Vermaland Plans $33bn Data Center in Arizona

Land developer Vermaland is planning a $33bn data center in Arizona dubbed the La Osa Project which would potentially be located in Pinal County on a 3,300-acre site and support up to 3GW of capacity, which would bring in more capacity than the entire Phoenix Metropolitan area.

Maincubes to Develop First Data Center at Nauen Campus

Germany data center operator Maincubes is developing the first data center at its Nauen campus outside Berlin which will be the first of a maximum of six data centers constituting the campus, dubbed BER02.

Galaxy Data Center to Invest $2bn in Data Centers in Thailand

China's Galaxy Data Center (GDC) has announced that it will invest $2bn in data centers in deploying GW-scale green AI data center (AIDC) technologies in Thailand.

AWS to Provide up to $1bn in Cloud Discounts

The US General Services Administration (GSA) has signed another discount deal with Amazon which will see the cloud provider providing the GSA with up to $1 billion in savings for cloud adoption, modernization, and training across US federal agencies through to the end of 2028.

Edged Tops out Data Center in Iowa

Data center firm Edged this week said it had topped out its facility in Ankeny, just north of Des Moines, which will offer 13MW of capacity across 105,000 square feet and utilize a waterless cooling system from sister company ThermalWorks.
