SAP to Spend €20bn on European Sovereign Cloud

German software company SAP is planning to invest more than €20 billion ($23.3bn) in expanding its sovereign cloud offering in Europe, launching various platforms for customers to deploy in their data centers.

OData Secures $1.02bn in Green Financing

Latin American data center firm OData this week announced $1.02bn in green financing for data center projects that “meet the highest standards of sustainability”, marking the largest of its kind for data centers in Latin America, and taking OData’s total financing to date to $2.25bn.

Flexential to Build Sixth Hillsboro Facility

US data center firm Flexential  this week announced the acquisition of a land parcel in Hillsboro, Oregon, that will be home to its sixth data center in the city, a 350,000-square-foot (32,516 sqm), two-story data center expected to support 27MW of capacity.

Hitachi Energy to Invest $1bn into US Grid Infrastructure

Hitachi Energy has announced a $1 billion investment to scale up its grid infrastructure manufacturing footprint in the US, addressing the power demand from the AI data center sector.

Khazna Data Centers Secures $2.6bn Bank Financing

Khazna Data Centers has secured $2.62 billion in bank financing from two of the country’s banks, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) and First Abu Dhabi Bank, to grow its data center empire.
