Cryptomining company turned data center developer TeraWulf has topped out its newest facility in New York.

“Today we topped out CB4, marking the final structural beam placed - all thanks to the crews who brought this build to life,” the company announced on LinkedIn this week. “What stands above is more than steel. It’s execution, coordination, and a shared commitment to delivering critical infrastructure at scale.”

CB-4 at TeraWulf’s Lake Mariner campus in New York will provide 168MW of capacity, with energization slated for Q3 2026.

The campus plans six buildings in total. Three are already live—Wulf Den (2MW), CB1 (16MW), and CB2 Phase 1 (42MW)—while CB2 Phase 2, CB3 (42MW), CB4, and CB5 (168MW) are expected to go live this year.

Located on the site of a former coal plant outside Buffalo and originally developed for cryptomining, TeraWulf has been pivoting the Lake Mariner campus towards AI and HPC leasing. The site currently has 500MW of capacity, expandable to 750MW. Core42, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-based tech group G42, is a customer of the campus.

The company has also signed multiple deals with AI cloud firm Fluidstack that are backed by Google. Fluidstack plans to lease 360MW of critical IT load from TeraWulf's Lake Marinercampus, in two 10-year deals backed by Google. Google also took a 14percent stake in TeraWulf across those two deals.

Terawulf has 22 sites.
