CyrusOne has reached the topping-out milestone for its latest data center in Texas. The company announced this week that the first building at its new campus in Bosque County has been topped out.

“Bosque County, Texas, showed up — and CyrusOne was honored to celebrate alongside them,” the company said. “The topping out of our first data center on our campus here marked a milestone not just for construction, but for a community that has welcomed us, partnered with us, and trusted us to do this the right way.”

CyrusOne officially announced plans for the campus, adjacent to Calpine Corporation’s Thad Hill Energy Center, in July 2025. The site is located in Whitney, between the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Waco.

The company first filed to develop a building – known as DFW10 – at the site in 2024. The $750 million DFW10 is set to be a 250,000 sq ft (23,225 sqm), single-story data center. A second building, the $400m DFW11, is set to be a single-story facility totaling 88,875 sq ft (8,255 sqm).
