Tensor Estate has acquired a stake in MCF Group Estonia, the owner and operator of the Greenergy Data Centers facility near Tallinn. The investment will provide expansion capital to grow the campus in response to rising AI demand. Greenergy Data Centers, launched in 2022, is the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund’s first digital infrastructure investment.
The Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund (3SIIF) will remain the majority shareholder. A joint supervisory board has been established with representatives from both 3SIIF and Tensor Estate, while the company will continue to operate under its existing management.
"We welcome Tensor Estate as a new shareholder in MCF Group Estonia,” said Cameron Cook, senior investment director at Amber Infrastructure, investment adviser to 3SIIF. “As the majority shareholder, 3SIIF remains fully committed to supporting the continued development of Greenergy Data Centers. The ongoing expansion of the data center in response to unprecedented demand from the artificial intelligence market is underway, and we look forward to the full commercialization of this strategically important digital infrastructure asset."
