Telkom Indonesia: Telkom Indonesia launches Bandar Lampung data center

Telkom Indonesia has announced that its new Bandar Lampung data center has launched, with a third of the facility's racks already filled. With this development in South Sumatra in Lampung province, the company now has 23 locations spread across 17 major cities in Indonesia. 

In attendance at the inauguration of the neuCentrlX Tanjung Karang data center were a number of Telkom Indonesia's leads, including the director of wholesale and international service Telkom, Bogi Witjaksono, the EVP of regional I area Sumatra, Djatmiko Djatmiko, and the EVP of wholesale service division Telkom, Muhammad Rofik.

Djatmiko Djatmiko commented: "NeuCentrIX Tanjung Karang has been built by applying 3S criteria (Simple, Standard, and Secure). For this reason, we ask for the support and cooperation of all neuCentrIX stakeholders so that they are disciplined in maintaining 3S quality."

Speaking about the launch the company said: "As an effort to accelerate the realization of Indonesia's digital ecosystem, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) accelerated the expansion of data center services in Sumatra by inaugurating neuCentrIX Tanjung Karang some time ago."
