Telconet Opens Data Center In Guayaquil, Ecuador, Plans Another In Quito

Telconet has opened its third Ecuadorian data center, TCC III, in Guayaquil and plans to develop another facility in Quito to expand its capacity.
The new facility, located at Telcocity Technology Campus in Guayaquil, is part of Telconet’s broader plan to expand digital infrastructure across Ecuador. Telconet also plans to develop Cloud Center IV in Quito.
Telconet operates more than 90,000km of fiber-optic cable and is involved in the CSN-1 submarine cable linking Ecuador, Panama, Colombia, and Florida. The company plans eight data centers and Edge facilities across Ecuador, Panama, Colombia, and the US, with sites in Panama and Barranquilla expected to launch by year-end.
