Madrid: Stoneshield looking to Raise €300 million ($307.3m) to Fund 100MW Madrid Campus

According to Cinco Dias, Spanish data center developer Xdata is looking to offload a stake in its company to help fund its 100MW Madrid data center campus development. The company has reportedly contacted CBRE and Morgan Stanley to seek an investor. Stoneshield established XData Properties in 2021. The company currently owns and operates a data center in Madrid- bought for €40m from Indra in the same year.

XData plans to invest up to €750 million in developing the Madrid data center under its control. Reports have it that Stoneshield is currently exploring options for incorporating an investment partner in XData. According to sources, the firm is looking for up to €300 million ($307.3m) to achieve its goal.
