Stockland Files Proposal for 168MW Sydney Data Center

An application has been submitted for a large-scale data center in Sydney, Australia.Filed with the New South Wales government through a SEARS application, the proposal outlines a facility at 90 Aldington Road in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney. The development would span a 92,400 sqm (994,585 sq ft) site and deliver up to 168MW of capacity across twelve 14MW data halls. The site is currently undeveloped land located near several industrial facilities, and the data center is expected to support direct-to-chip liquid cooling.


An application has been submitted for a large-scale data center in Sydney, Australia. Lodged with the New South Wales government via a SEARS application, the proposal details a facility at 90 Aldington Road in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney. The project would cover a 92,400 sqm (994,585 sq ft) site and deliver up to 168MW of capacity across twelve 14MW data halls. The site is currently undeveloped and sits adjacent to several industrial facilities, with the data center expected to support direct-to-chip liquid cooling. The plans also include a 1GW substation, which would supply power to the wider industrial park.

Stockland has recently partnered with EdgeConneX on a development in Sydney’s Macquarie Park and has previously delivered another data center project in the same area.
