Stack Infrastructure has announced that it has made progress at its new Hillsboro campus in Oregon with the completion of its first building. Spanning 180,000 sqft, with a capacity of 24MW, that said, only half of that capacity (12MW) is available due to pre-leasing activity.
The facility, POR03, will also be powered by 100% renewable energy, and looking ahead, the company plans to construct a further four data centers on the site.
Commenting on the completion of POR03, Matt VanderZanden, Stack chief strategy officer, said: "Today's announcement of Stack's continued growth in Portland embodies our dedication to investing in core data center markets to support our hyperscale and enterprise clients."
Adding: "In choosing to continue to invest in Hillsboro, Stack empowers its clients to achieve their scalable data center infrastructure and sustainability objectives."
