STACK Portland POR03: Stack Acquires Land in Portland For Expansion

Stack Infrastructure is expanding in the Hillsboro area of Portland, Oregon, after acquiring more land in the area. The company announced that it is expanding its Portland data center campus to 200MW with the land acquisition. Upon full build-out, the company’s total capacity in Portland will rise to 230MW. The terms of the company’s 25-acre land acquisition were not disclosed. Stack Infrastructure currently has three locations in Hillsboro. The company is presently expanding its POR03 data center campus with the land acquisition.

The CEO of Stack Infrastructure, Brian Cox, said the company is committed to ensuring that customers in Hillsboro continue to have access to swift and reliable data center capacity. He noted that the new development shows Stack’s commitment to investing in the Hillsboro data center market. 

Stack’s three sites in the area include POR01, POR02, and POR03. POR01 is a 12MW data center facility on 6 acres, located at 3145 NE Brookwood Pkwy. The POR02 facility located at 8135 NE Evergreen Pkwy spans 32,050 square meters (345,000 square feet), offering 24MW of capacity. Finally, the POR03 campus spans 16,700 square meters (180,000 square feet). It also offers 24MW of capacity across four data halls.
