Sharon AI Signs 50MW Data Center Lease with NextDC

Australian neocloud Sharon AI has signed a 50MW capacity expansion agreement with NextDC. The company is reportedly undergoing a private funding round with the hope it will "warm up" the market for a future public listing.

“AI infrastructure is the foundation of the intelligence economy,” said Craig Scroggie, CEO of NextDC. “Sharon AI, in collaboration with Nvidia, is deploying sovereign, high-density GPU capacity engineered for AI at speed and scale. This collaboration highlights the rapid acceleration of global AI development and the essential role that secure, sovereign infrastructure plays in enabling this growth across the region.”
