The Fort Worth, Texas Alliance Gateway Data Center has been put up for sale. Listed by Cushman & Wakefield on LoopNet, the 13.2-acre data center is located at 13701 Independence Parkway. The two-story, 209,200-square-foot building is available for only one tenancy. A potential IT capacity was not disclosed, and pricing information is available upon request.
The data center was constructed by Hillwood Development Company in 2001 as part of the Alliance Texas master-planned community. American International Group (AIG), a finance and insurance company, acquired the data center in 2002.
Alliance Texas is a 27,000-acre project developed by Hillwood encompassing sections of Haslet, Westlake, Northlake, Denton, and Roanoke in north Fort Worth. In addition, the proposal includes an airport designed exclusively for cargo, corporate, and military aviation. Only the two at 13701 and 13751 Independence Parkway were developed by Hillwood, but the project is home to several facilities, including a $1 billion Meta data center, a different one owned by QTS, and a nearby Stack Infrastructure facility.
A second, 88,600-square-foot data center is adjacent to the 209,200-square-foot building at 13751 Independence Parkway. This was acquired by Skyrise Properties in 2007 and marketed as a data center by CB Richard Ellis. The building is occupied by Aero-Glen International, which utilizes it as its main office and distribution center.
