Texas: Texas-based Valero payments data center for sale

Energy company Valero's office and data center space is up for sale in Texas. Williams & Co Real Estate has the Valero Credit Card Ops Center at 7201 Canyon Drive in Amarillo listed for sale with a Triple Net Lease (NNN) tenant. The price listed is $6,295,000. The 2003-built, 34,585-square-foot, single-story structure in Potters County is described as an office building with an on-site data center. The data center portion of the facility was not disclosed.

The property serves as the principal location for Valero's Payment Service Center, which is responsible for the acceptance of payment cards across its US operations. Williams & Co reported that the lease was recently extended through March 2028, and Valero has the option to extend the term for two additional five-year periods. 

The net operating income (NOI) of the property exceeds $544,000. Valero agreed to replace four HVAC systems servicing the building and construct a new security fence on a portion of the property as part of the recent lease renewal. Valero Energy was founded in 1980 and is a downstream petroleum corporation that owns 15 refineries.
