US operator PowerHouse has topped out a new data center in Dallas, Texas. The company announced the topping out of the first building at its Irving campus over the weekend.
"Reaching this point is the result of strong coordination across teams on-site. Thank you to Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC for leading construction and helping drive the project forward,” the company said on LinkedIn. “With the structure now complete, work continues on interior systems, infrastructure, and the next phases of development across the campus.”
First announced in 2024, the project is located at 111 Customer Way in Dallas County. Developed with Harrison Street Asset Management, the campus is designed to support up to 201MW across three two-story buildings totaling around 900,000 sq ft (83,612 sqm).
The site was previously a Neiman Marcus distribution warehouse on a 50-acre plot. Real estate firm Provident acquired the 491,310 sq ft (45,600 sqm) facility in 2021, with plans to expand and re-tenant it after the retailer’s lease ended in 2022.
