Oracle: Oracle Launches Second Cloud Region in France

Oracle has announced the opening of a new region in Paris, France. This will be the company’s second region in the country as it opened its first in Marseilles inside Interxion’s campus in November 2021. The general manager of Oracle France, Christophe Negrier, said Oracle is helping organizations and customers ensure that their cloud-first strategy grows rapidly, becomes more sustainable, and more secure.

According to Oracle, the new Paris region and the other eight regions in Europe, South America, and North America are powered by green energy. Oracle has been busy in recent times. It opened its 37th cloud region in Johannesburg earlier in the year. It also revealed that it would have at least 44 cloud regions before the year runs out.
