NTT Data has signed a partnership with the Holy See (Vatican) to support its activities in Japan. Both companies will be expanding their existing relationship to "identify opportunities for future collaboration."

"NTT Data is our technology partner in Japan. We appreciate their support for our participation in the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and we are very pleased to be working with a company that understands the significance and importance of the role and activities of the Holy See, which are present in so many parts of the world," said Archbishop Rino Fisichella.

The two organizations have been working together for more than 10 years, with NTT Data assisting the Holy See in creating a digital archive of its valuable assets using AMLAD, NTT's digital archiving solution. NTT Data is set to continue this archiving project to "create new value by preserving reliable sources of knowledge and making them available for use."
