NextDC Sydney S3: NextDC Finally Launches S3 Facility in Sydney

NextDC has announced the launch of its S3 Sydney facility in Sydney, Australia. The Australian data center company announced on LinkedIn that S3 is now open and ready for customer tours. NextDC first started work on the S3 facility in March 2021. The company also revealed that it would have an official opening ceremony next month.

S3 is a Tier IV data center with 366,000 square feet (34,000 square meters) of space across eight stories. It will also deliver over 215,000 square feet (20,000 square meters) of data center floor space and 43,000 square feet (4,000 square meters) of critical office space. Upon full build-out, the data center is expected to have a capacity of 80MW. It will also interconnect the existing S1 and S2 facilities directly.
