Multifeed launches JPNAP service at Osaka 7 Data Center

Internet Multifeed has announced that it has added the Osaka Data Center 7 in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, to its JPNAP service. The data center is operated by NTT Communications Corporation and will go online for operations in May 2023.

According to the company, the data center is one of the largest in the region, and is also low-risk for floods and earthquakes. 

JPNAP Service has connection bases in four areas in Japan, located in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Sendai. The company shared the “growing need for interconnection” in the Osaka and Tokyo areas informed the decision to expand the number of interconnection sites in the Osaka area.

There are 64 data centers in Osaka.
