Lumen Minnetonka: Mapletree acquires Lumen’s Minnesota data center for $26 million

As part of its acquisition of Sila Realty Trust’s data center portfolio, Mapletree Investment Trust has also acquired a Lumen data center in Minnesota. The facility is at 5400-5500 Feltl Road inside the Opus Business Park, Minnetonka. It is reported that Sila paid $26 million for the facility. Also, the facility comprises three buildings that sit on 15.5 acres of land with a total space of 135,000 square feet for data center and office space.

Furthermore, the facility has a colocation space of 12,000 square feet, with a capacity of 2MW. Sila Realty Trust first bought the facility for $19.9 million in 2015. The facility was also part of the 29 data centers Mapletree acquired in May 2021.
