Apr 08, 2020 | Posted by Eric Bell

Macquarie has finalized the acquisition of AirTrunk. The deal, which values AirTrunk at $1.9B (USD), was led by Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund 2 (MAIF2) and other MIRA-managed partners. The 88% stake was acquired from Goldman Sachs, Sixth Street Partners (formerly TSSP) and from AirTrunk founder, Robin Khuda, who will retain a stake in the business. AirTrunk will use the capital injection from the consortium to accelerate its expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
