Australia: Blackstone acquires AirTrunk for AU$24bn

 Blackstone has acquired APAC data center firm AirTrunk from Macquarie Asset Management and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board. for US$16.1 billion, making it the largest-ever deal in the space. This deal was secured with funds from Blackstone along with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP).
