Leading Edge Data Centres (LEDC) has opened a new data center in Australia’s Coffs Harbour. The company announced this on LinkedIn: “Today we cut the ribbon of our brand-new data center in Coffs Harbour, with over 40 in attendance. The new design Altas 30-rack facility is in high demand, and it was wonderful to have so many of our customers there to celebrate with us today.”
The Mayor of Coffs Harbour, Paul Amos, and the MP of the city, Gurmesh Singh, were present at the ribbon-cutting event. LEDC was founded in 2018. The company makes use of prefabricated data center modules developed by Schneider Electric. These modules usually have configurations of either 30 or 75 racks. The company currently has facilities in Albury, Dubbo, Newcastle, and Tamworth.
