Leading Edge DC, an Australian Edge data center firm, has announced the opening of a new facility in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia. The company revealed the development in a LinkedIn post. It said: "We're Open for Business in Tamworth! A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey to Bridge the Digital Divide of Regional Australia with us."

The company also revealed that it is planning to develop over 20 Edge data centers across the country. Leading Edge DC currently has sites in Dubbo, and Newcastle, with both in New South Wales.
