Keppel Eindhoven Campus: Keppel DC REIT acquires data center in Netherlands

Keppel Data Center REIT has acquired a data center in the Netherlands. The data center firm acquired 100% of the property, which has two data center buildings in De Hurk business Park, Eindhoven. Keppel paid €37.2 million ($44.1m) to a fund affiliated with MCAP Global Finance (UK) for the property.
The site has 7,790 square meters (83,841 square feet) of lettable space. Keppel DC REIT also announced that it would be naming the facility ‘Eindhoven Campus.’ CEO of Keppel DC REIT, Anthea Lea, said that since the Netherlands is one of the top four markets in Europe, the Company is delighted to add the new data center to its portfolio. He added that the Netherlands is also the eighth largest data center market worldwide, and the Company is happy that it can diversify its portfolio base by adding an important data center client.
