Huawei Cloud: Housing Bank inaugurates Tier III prefabricated modular data center in Jordan

Housing Bank recently announced the launch of what it's calling the first-ever Prefabricated Modular Data Center in the banking sector in Jordan. According to the company, the data center is designed to enhance the bank's daily operations, boosting flexibility, efficiency, speed, and security.

It has been shared that Huawei, and construction companies Badaweih and STS, worked on the development of the facility, however further details regarding its specification and location have not yet been released. 

Commenting on this launch, Mr. Ammar Al-Safadi, Housing Bank CEO, said: "We are proud to announce the launch of our new datacenter and our certification from the Uptime Institute. This certification was granted after successfully passing rigorous audits that assess our environmental and physical controls, as well as capacity levels."

"These measures ensure the continuity of our business with minimal risks and are based on our adherence to international design standards, appropriate equipment, maintenance, resource and assets management, including energy supply and efficiency monitoring, we demonstrate our commitment to excellence in operational sustainability.
