H5 Albuquerque: H5 Acquires 505 Marquette

H5 Data Centers has acquired 505 Marquette in downtown Albuquerque. The building is a carrier hotel from which H5 DC currently operates a data center. The 225,000-square-feet building is a critical interconnection point for New Mexico. This is because it has 20 on-site communications carriers. It also has access to long-haul fiber. The property also contains storage, retail, and office space.

The CEO of H5 Data Centers, Josh Simms, said the property had been one of Albuquerque’s most interconnected points. He added that the company had been a tenant of the property in the past, and it looks forward to expanding the property’s infrastructure.
