H5 Data Centers has completed the acquisition of a data center at 925 Dalton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. The 107,000 square feet (9,940 square meters) purpose-built data center was built to Tier III standards. It currently has a 2MW capacity, but it can be expanded to 6MW upon full buildout. H5 Data Centers did not reveal the details of the transaction. According to H5, the acquired facility complements its existing carrier hotel and edge data center in the same city.
CEO and founder of H5 Data Centers, Josh Simms, said Ohio is a quickly growing data center market. Simms added that the company would continue growing the interconnection community in Cincinnati while also serving the mission-critical requirements of the top enterprises in the area.
