European real estate developer Garbe is planning a large data center campus in Denmark. The deal concerns 35 hectares of commercial land in Business Park Falster at exit 43 on Nordfalster.

Jonathan Henry, executive managing director at Garbe Data Centers, said: “This is an important milestone both for our company and for Denmark’s position as a center for sustainable digital infrastructure. Our ambition is to develop a data center campus of international top class, combining cutting-edge technology and design with a focus on renewable energy and high environmental responsibility.”

Simon Hansen, Mayor of Guldborgsund Municipality, added: “This is a historic day for Guldborgsund Municipality. With the sale of 35 hectares of commercial land, we are realizing the largest land transaction in the municipality's history and attracting investment at a level that we otherwise only see in national mega-projects. The data center will create many jobs, growth, and a stronger position for our area in the green, digital future. I look forward to working with Garbe Data Centers to ensure that the project is realized.”
