French broadcast infrastructure company TDF has expanded its data center near Aix-Marseille by adding 300 square meters (3,229 square feet) of server room space, increasing the facility’s total capacity to almost 1,000 square meters (10,764 square feet).
A further expansion phase is planned and is expected to be completed by 2027. Located at 6505 Route de la Tour d’Arbois between Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, the facility has been in operation since 2014.
Founded in 1975 following the dissolution of France’s state broadcaster ORTF, TDF (Télédiffusion de France) specializes in radio and television transmission services. The company also operates a network of data centers across France and overseas territories, with facilities located in Lille, Paris, Rennes, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, and Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia.
