A new company called XL360 has launched a new data center in Toulon, France. The 17,200 square feet (1,600) square meters data center has the capacity to hold 105 computer racks. The building will also be used as a coworking space. The data center is situated on the Boulevard du Commandant Nicolas. According to the company, over $5.2m (€5m) has been invested in developing the facility.
XL360 was formed in 2020 by Xavier Lafaure, the former CEO of Exclusive Networks (a French cybersecurity company). According to Lafaure, the project sees the company renovate an existing building to transform it into a data center and a business hotel with a focus on digital start-ups. He added that the facility would also help accelerate Toulon’s digital growth.
