Flexential has announced that it plans to develop an 18MW data center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The data center will span 11,150 square meters (120,000 square feet). The first phase is expected to deliver 4.5MW capacity, and it is scheduled to come online in Q3 2023. Flexential has also revealed extra $150m asset-backed securities offering through private placements. The company plans to invest the new financing in its data center projects.
The Chief Operating Officer of Flexential, Ryan Mallory, said the company is dedicated to providing reliable, scalable data center options for customers to choose from according to their needs. He added that the company is also focused on the environment and sustainability. Mallory further noted that Flexential’s recent investment in its sustainable data center infrastructure shows its commitment to making critical infrastructure in quick-growing data center markets available for customers.
