Flexential has announced its plans to expand the capacity of its Englewood data center in Denver, Colorado. The facility is located at 8636 S Peoria Street. Flexential says it will be adding 4.5MW capacity to the data center, bringing it to 11.25MW. The increase in capacity will be available for customers by spring 2022. Flexential’s Chief Operating Officer, Ryan Mallory, said the increased demand for more power and new services is the determinant for increasing the capacity at the facility. He added that the company is committed to providing scalable and reliable data center options for its clients.
Mallory further added that Denver is a major market for Flenxential, and it will continue to be a primary global data center market. Flexential currently has four facilities in Denver. The total capacity of the facilities is over 20MW across more than 45,500 square meters (490,000 square feet) of space. Flexential has 18MW capacity listed on its website. However, the figure is for the capacity at full buildout.
