DataBox takes over Digital Realty's cloud service in Croatia

Croatian cloud solutions and data center provider DataBox has taken over Digital Realty's cloud services in the country. This move will enable Digital Realty to "realign" its offering in Croatia and focus on acting as an infrastructure provider instead of a cloud service provider in the country.

Vecernji List reports that Digital Realty has decided to "exit the cloud business." DataBox offers colocation and cloud services, including virtual data centers, storage-as-a-service, dedicated servers, and backup-as-a-service.

"We're thrilled to integrate OVHcloud's cloud solution into our ServiceFabric platform, enhancing our ability to deliver seamless, scalable, and secure connectivity for enterprises across the globe," said Chris Sharp, CTO of Digital Realty. "This partnership strengthens our platform's capacity to meet the growing demand for hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, ensuring that our customers can access critical cloud and bare metal offerings with the performance, resilience, and flexibility they require. We're excited to be building an open and foundational platform together with our valued partners."
