DataBank: DataBank to expand DEN2 facility

DataBank has announced the creation of its Centennial Campus by purchasing following the purchase of the data center it leased in the Centennial municipality in Colorado. This purchase will enable the company to expand onto the adjacent plot, which will be home to its DEN5 data center.

Speaking about this development, CEO Raul K. Martynek said: "By creating this campus, DataBank is responding to Denver's need for colocation, connectivity, and cloud services, and solidifies our status as a prime location for mission-critical workloads serving the Denver metropolitan area."

When complete, its Centennial Campus will sit on an 11-acre plot with two data centers totaling over 115,000 sqft of raised floor with 20MW of critical IT load power.
