Data4 has announced that it has broken ground on its first data center campus in Poland. The French data center company announced earlier in July last year that it would invest up to €200 million ($237m) in developing the data center campus in Warsaw, Poland. The company has now confirmed that it has started construction on the data center. It is also planning to invest around €250 million ($278 million) in developing the facility.

The data center campus will span a four-hectare plot located in Jawczyce. Data4 is going to develop three data center buildings on the land. The buildings will have a total space of 161,500 square feet (15,000 square meters) and 50MW. The first building is scheduled to be in operation in Q1 2023. Data4 noted that it is convinced about the potential of the Polish data center market due to government policies and businesses.

Data4: Warsaw 1 is located at Przyparkowa 21, 05-850 Jawczyce, Poland.
