Indian data center firm CtrlS has broken ground on a data center located on a five-acre land parcel at the Badwai IT Park. CtrlS said that the facility would possess “24/7 operational reliability and high uptime,” but specific figures were not provided.

Sridhar Pinnapureddy, chairman of CtrlS, said: "We chose Madhya Pradesh for its visionary leadership in fostering an enabling business and policy environment, a strategic location that can act as a digital crossroads for Central India and untapped potential as a technology talent hub.”

Madhya Pradesh is not a considerable data center market in India. RackBank and Dinclix GroundWorks have facilities in the state; however, according to Datacenter Map, there are currently no data centers in Bhopal. The primary data center hubs in the country are located around Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore, while Noida, Pune, Navi Mumbai, and New Delhi also have a notable data center presence.
