CtrlS Datacenters Ltd: CtrlS Starts Works on a New Facility in Guwahati, Assam, India

CtrlS has announced that it has started work on a new data center in India. The facility is located in the Tech City Park in Guwahati, Assam. CtrlS’ new data center will sit on a three-acre site, and it will have a capacity of 1,000 racks, expandable to 2,000 racks over the next 18 months. The IT Minister of Assam, Keshab Mahanta, was in attendance at the ceremony, and he laid the foundation stone of the facility.
CtrlS said it is committed to developing state-of-the-art data centers in Assam while also providing the best-in-class services to enterprises and government by making applications available to the end-users in the region and state. The company currently operates two data centers in Hyderabad, four in Mumbai, and one in Noida and Bangalore. These facilities span a total space of 1 million square feet. CtrlS plans to expand its data center footprint to six million sq ft in the next two years.
