CoreWeave is expanding into Indonesia with plans to develop three data centers, marking its first entry into the Asia-Pacific region. Scheduled to launch in 2028, the facilities will provide a combined 360MW of IT capacity, with CoreWeave owning and operating the compute infrastructure while training a local team to manage the sites.

"Indonesia is investing heavily in AI education and digital capacity, and it’s paying off – the country is becoming one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing destinations for global tech investment. Now, this expansion gives enterprises, AI-native companies and governments more compute locally and globally, wherever they need it, to turn that into a competitive advantage."
CoreWeave has not disclosed the locations or capacities of the three planned data centers. As of March 31, 2026, the company operated 49 data centers with 1GW of active power and 3.5GW of contracted capacity, and remains on track to exceed 1.7GW by the end of 2026. It has also recently leased additional capacity at an EdgeConneX data center in Texas.
