Amazon AWS: AWS Planning 3 new data centers in San Antonio

Planning documents recently revealed that Amazon is developing three data centers in Texas. The documents disclosed the project’s name as “Rockfish” and unveiled a plan to build a $56 million, 109,600 sqft (10,100 sq m) data center located on 11625 Old Corpus Christi Highway.

This is not the only site chosen for construction in the San Antonio area. AWS has filed additional construction projects at 7400 Potranco Road, TX 78251 and TX-211 & Potranco Road, TX 78245. Both are listed as occupying 109,600 sqft. All three projects have the same listed completion date.
