Microsoft Azure: Microsoft To Develop a $215.9m Data Center in San Antonio, Texas

Microsoft has filed to develop a data center in San Antonio, Texas. The company is looking to develop the SAT15 facility at 3555 Westover Link in Bexar County, San Antonio. The new data center will span 245,000 square feet. Microsoft will also invest up to $215.9m in developing the facility. Construction on the site is expected to start in October. The data center is also scheduled to come online in Q1 2024. 

The new data center will be developed about two miles from Microsoft’s facility called SAT14, which is under construction at 3545 Wiseman Blvd. Microsoft plans to develop five data center buildings on the SAT14 campus. The facility will span 350,000 square feet (32,500 square meters). It will also cost over $200m.
