According to Biz Journal, Amazon Data Services Inc. has acquired three office properties in Sterling, Virginia. The buildings acquired are located at 46020. 46010, and 46000 Manekin Plaza. The Loudoun County deed records show that Amazon paid over $21 million for the properties. According to public records, the property's previous owner is SIP/CREF Manekin Plaza LLC. The company paid $11.8 million in 2019 for the 7.5-acre site.

The property has an engineering firm, a Uhaul facility, and other firms as tenants of the building. The office buildings were originally developed in 1989. Amazon Data Services didn't comment on what it intends to use the property for. In light of this, it is unclear if it wants to use the property to develop a data center or for an AWS office space. However, since Amazon's Data Services Unit acquired the property, it is more likely to be used for a data center.
