Aligned Chicago ORD-01: Aligned Finishes Work at ORD-01 Data Center, Breaks Ground on ORD-2

Aligned has announced the completion of work on the first data center at its campus in Chicagoland. In addition, the company has also broken ground on a new data center at the campus. Aligned completed the first phase of its ORD-01 data center, which is located in Northlake, Illinois. The data center provides 220,000 square feet of space. It also offers up to 48MW of capacity, expandable to 60MW.
The data center firm has also started work on the ORD-02 data center. When completed, the Chicagoland data center campus will consist of two multi-story facilities on an 18.5-acre site. The facilities will also offer over 100MW in capacity, spanning 520,000 square feet. The CEO of Aligned, Andrew Schaap, said Chicago’s access to great green energy options, long-haul connectivity, and centralized location makes it an amazing location for multinational enterprises and hyperscalers to deploy their mission-critical infrastructure.
