3S Group has announced it is building a new data center in Katowice, Poland. Its largest data center on the complex yet, the DC3 facility will span 2,200 sq m (23,600 sq ft), built next to its DC1 and DC2 facilities.
Based in Southern Poland, the addition of the new data center brings the group’s total site area to 4,400 sq m (47,300 sq ft). The new Katowice center is expected to come into operation in the first quarter of 2023.
3S is also looking to expand into Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Wrocław, with plans to acquire facilities in these areas. The company separately announce announced that it would soon be opening its new 750 square meter data center in Bytom.
