UM Kiinteistöt is developing the DataPark Kangasala site for data centers near the Kangasala railway station area, about 1.3 km from a Fingrid 400 kV substation.

UM Kiinteistöt Oy is a family-owned real estate, project and area development company headquartered in Tampere. It has developed business premises and areas since 2015. Mikko Uusi-Marttila is CEO.
The company holds about 100 hectares of plots for commercial and residential construction in Pirkanmaa, Varsinais-Suomi and Uusimaa, with about 200,000 square metres of building rights. It develops land, builds commercial premises, and prepares projects for construction companies. Its area projects include the GreenPark business area in Lempäälä, the Sundsberg residential area in Kirkkonummi, and the DataPark data centre site near Kangasala station.

- In September 2026, the company revised the DataPark study area and removed the Kyötikkälä field from it.
- In August 2026, UM Kiinteistöt and MHR Yhtiöt sold the Plugit Campus property in Pirkkala.
- In June 2026, the city of Kangasala granted the company a planning reservation for the DataPark data centre project.
- In February 2026, the company launched the GreenPark business area beside Highway 3 in Lempäälä.
