The previously proposed €40 million expansion by Spanish operator Nixval in Valencia is no longer being pursued.

NIXVAL, also known as Neutral Internet Exchange Valencia, began operations in 2002 as part of the telecommunications infrastructure operator Metrored, then as the Cleop group.
In 2009 the company changed its name to NIXVAL.
