Hypertec announced YUL03 in November 2019 as a wholesale colocation site in the corridor between Montreal and Quebec City. The project was never built.

Hypertec is developing a new campus at 7000 rue Saint-Patrick in Montreal's LaSalle borough, on former city land. In September 2025, Hypertec, Mila and 5C announced a CA$250 million Sovereign AI Research Hub at Hypertec's LaSalle campus. The hub will provide secure GPU compute for AI research.
