Edge 1343 is owned by Edgecity 1343 LLC, part of Edgecity Holdings, whose president is Mike Meloy. Meloy founded Data Recovery Services, a regional data center operator that Involta bought in 2015.
The company owns the building at 1343 Belmont Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio, and converted it into a coworking hub with private offices, suites, meeting rooms and event space. The building houses a data center and carrier hotel that stayed in service while most of the building sat empty, and much of the internet traffic in Mahoning and Columbiana counties passes through it. Tenants can connect to several carriers on site.
