The University of Texas is planning to build a new $3 million data center for the College of Education. The facility will be located on the first floor of the Education Building and will cover an area of 4,568 square feet (424.4 square meters). This new center is significantly larger than the existing 1,448-square-foot (134.5 square meters) server room located on the third floor of the El Paso campus, which is situated between the Engineering and Classroom buildings.
