Site planned for 2030 and has expansions through 2032

Spanish energy firm Serosense, a subsidiary of the Visalia Group, is making its debut in the data center sector with a planned facility in Alcarràs, Catalonia.

The company has acquired approximately 12,000 square meters of industrial land strategically located along the N-II highway near Lleida. The project features a scalable infrastructure design and leverages its location in the Pinyana Canal area for vital cooling water resources. Backed by the Alcarràs City Council as a driver for local economic diversification, the development joins a growing trend of Spanish energy firms expanding into tech infrastructure, though it will require several years of urban planning amendments and partial zoning approvals before launching.
